The trail takes you to the base of the Michinmahuida glacier. The hike is very flat and open. This hike inside the Pumalín National Park begins at the Ventisquero campsite (4×4 access only) and follows a largely flat and open path to the base of the Amarillo Hanging Glacier, also known as the Michinmahuida Glacier, one of the glaciers on the slopes of the volcano Michinmahuida.
The views of the glacier begin to be seen almost from the beginning of the tour but, without a doubt, seeing the glaciers up close is a spectacular experience.
Starting point: Camping Ventisquero, Pumalín Sur.
