Hiking in Pumalín Douglas Tompkins
National Park
Pumalín Douglas Tompkins National Park offers eleven trails (eight in the north and three in the south) ranging from 30 minutes to 10 hours, with Lodge Caleta Gonzalo providing guided tours, lodging, meals, transfers, and air access for a complete experience.
The trails in Pumalín Park are well maintained and marked, but it is essential to check with park rangers before hiking, as weather conditions can change quickly and increase difficulty, especially on rainy days.
All trails start from the Carretera Austral (Route 7) and have nearby parking at the trailheads.
Visitors are advised to carry a detailed map or a trekking app that works offline, since there is no cell service in most parts of the park.

At the Caleta Gonzalo Information Center, you can consult a large mural map, which is very helpful for locating the trails before starting your hike.
