Reservation Information

  • To make a reservation in our little cabins you must pay 100% of the value of the accommodation of your stay.

  • Once we receive the proof of transfer or payment, we will proceed to confirm the reservation by sending you a confirmation email.

  • Any unpaid reservation will be canceled after 24 hours from when it was taken. Once canceled, that space can be taken by another person.

In the event that you cancel your trip, the amount to be reimbursed will depend on the cancellation date, and cancellation costs will be discounted.

  • If we receive written notification of cancellation of your reservation 30 or more days prior to your Check In, your deposit will be refunded less 30% of the total reservation.
  • If we receive written notification of cancellation of your reservation between 29 and 15 days before the date of your Check In, your deposit is refunded less 50% of the total reservation.
  • If we receive written notification of cancellation of your reservation 14 days before the date of your Check In, there will be no refund of your deposit.

In the event that you want to change the date of a confirmed reservation, the following conditions will apply:

  • Only changes of dates are accepted within the same season (July to June).
  • All reservations are nominative and are made in the name of the requesting party and are therefore non-transferable and indivisible.
  • Change of date more than 30 days in advance of the Check In date has a 15% surcharge
  • Change of date from 29 to 15 days prior to the Check In date has a 30% surcharge
  • Change of date 14 or less days before the check-in date has a 60% surcharge
  • Check-in time: from 3:00 p.m.
  • Check-out time: until 11:00 hrs.
  • Any check-out after 11:00 hrs. will be charged as an additional night of stay for the respective accommodation.
  • If you want to make an early check-in (early check-in), there is the option of paying the value corresponding to 20% of the accommodation rate, the new check-in being at 12:00 pm (subject to availability) .
  • It is not allowed to exceed the nominal passenger capacity of each cabin.
  • Pets are not allowed to the Lodge Caleta Gonzalo or the Pumalin National Park.
  • Any physical damage in the cabins and / or loss of their objects, will be charged to the client’s account.
  • In consideration of the Tobacco Law No. 20,660 of the State of Chile and our internal sustainability policy, smoking is not allowed inside any of the facilities, whether they are accommodation or of another nature.

Flexible policies for Covid-19

We are committed to helping you book your next trip with confidence. For this reason, we are offering Flexible Policies for COVID-19 as we continue to face the pandemic.

All reservations will allow free cancellation for reasons related to COVID-19 up to 48 hours before the trip.

  1. Disease (COVID-19) of the passenger or direct relative (first degree of consanguinity).

  2. Restrictions of the authority in the country of origin or destination.

  3. Flight cancellations (due to COVID-19) or airport closures.

    Clients will have the right to reimbursement having justified the aforementioned reasons. If the cause of the cancellation is different from the above criteria, the usual cancellation policies will apply.

Sexual abuse and harassment policy

Lodge Caleta Gonzalo SpA opposes the exploitation of human beings in any way, particularly sexual, and especially when it comes to children. In the case of minors traveling to our Lodge, we ask that accompanying adults provide proof indicating that they are their parents or close relatives. All our suppliers have to prevent the exploitation of human beings in all forms. As for our employees, we do not work with minors and we comply with current Chilean labor legislation.

Release of liability and Assumption of Risks

I declare to know and understand the characteristics of the Pumalín Douglas Tompkins National Park, a park located in a remote area, with the peculiarities of a natural geographic space, with an unstable and sometimes adverse climate, with times of low temperatures and strong winds. The exploration of this park requires the use of suitable technical implements. In this way I understand and assume all the risks inherent to my stay, as well as to the activities that I carry out. Likewise, I declare to know, understand and accept the regulations published on the website in the “Terms and Conditions” section that have been shown to me in this act. In accordance with the foregoing, I release Lodge Caleta Gonzalo SpA from all liability, as well as its agents, directors or representatives, administrators or workers, as well as any related natural or legal person, regarding any bodily, material or moral damage that It could be caused due to reckless, negligent, careless behavior or by not respecting the existing signs or instructions, therefore renouncing to exercise any action and exception of any nature against the aforementioned persons for the aforementioned damages. This statement is also made on behalf of the minors who accompany me, my assignees and legal representatives, and any person who is in my charge during my visit to the Pumalín Douglas Tompkins National Park.
